Sony San Diego Studio also revealed that Griffey will be a playable legend in MLB The Show 17.
There will be four editions of MLB The Show 17 available on launch day: Hall of Fame ($100), Digital Deluxe ($100), MVP ($70) and standard ($60). You can check out the differences with each version in the slideshow below.
MLB The Show 17 is only coming to PlayStation 4, meaning there isn’t a PlayStation 3 version like last year. There also isn’t a Vita version planned for release.
