Gwent The Witcher Card Game – PS4




CD Projekt Red gave fans of the open world action role-playing video game “The Witcher 3” an awesome surprise when the studio confirmed a new card battle game based the 2015 release. The studio announced “Gwent: The Witcher Card Game,” which was set for a closed beta last month. However, there was a delay, which led CD Project Red hold closed beta today.“Gwent: The Witcher Card Game” is set for an Xbox One and Windows PC release, but ahead of the yet undetermined date, CD Project holds a closed beta today. The game can be accessed by players beginning 10 a.m. PT today. According to Gamerant, the card game is a stand alone version of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”MSPowerUser reports that “Gwent: The Witcher Card Game” will feature in-game assets such as card art, card voice overs, skills, and competitive PVP mode. It also features “an event-rich world they can roam freely.” The story will be spliced into episodes, in which a campaign will challenge gamers with a choice and consequence mechanic that “The Witcher 3” fans would definitely be familiar with.“The Witcher 3” was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in May 2015 and was directed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Mateusz Kanik, and Sebastian Stępień. The open world action role-playing video game received positive reviews from gamers and critics alike and even won multiple Game of the Year awards.
