Fe’s announcement continues EA’s trend of publishing smaller titles by independent developers, now called EA Originals, following EA’s reveal of Unraveled last year and its recent extended partnership with Unraveled developer Coldwood Interactive. The goal of Originals is to seek out smaller teams and games, and support them through development, marketing, and publishing. According to EA Studios Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund, EA wants all of the profit to go back into the hands of the developers.
