Borderlands 3 – PS3

Finally, Pitchford also teased Battleborn’s upcoming DLC, which will contain some references to Borderlands 3. He suggested that Battleborn players “look deeply” at this content for details.
Borderlands 3 was originally announced in January 2015, at which time Pitchford referred to it as “the big one.” Parent publisher Take-Two later clarified that this game is being developed “specifically for next-gen,” indicating it will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as presumably PC.
The Borderlands franchise debuted in 2009 with the original Borderlands and its sequel Borderlands 2 arrived in 2012. That game is the best-selling title in 2K’s history and has sold “well over” 12 million copies.
A third game, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, was released in 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 before being ported to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 through the Handsome Collection in 2015.
Correction: An earlier version of this story reported that Neumann voiced Claptrap. GameSpot regrets the error.

On a possibly more serious note, Neumann said the character Scooter from Tales from the Borderlands might be referenced in Borderlands 3. Neumann is thinking about giving Scooter a son named Scooper (who has a super high-pitched voice) who will appear in Borderlands 3.
This character, created out of a desire to appease Pitchford’s wife who was devastated by Scooter’s fate in Tales from the Borderlands, might not make it into the new Borderlands, however, Pitchford warned.
